I fell asleep with the best of intentions and summer heat,
Just tight enough to make the skin pull over the sheets,
And to our favored house,
Lets board up the windows to not make a sound,
Cos' breaking ins so overrated when we need out,
I guess I'll never call it, you know I'll never call it home,
That's what you say,
So roll me up sh shake me out,
Another chance to be alone 's time well spent.
I'll be your habit when I'm needed with my hands around your neck, You're get getting the best of me,
Tell me if it hurts and does it mean it makes us desperate?
I'll be your habit when I'm needed if you lay these bones to rest
Tell me if it hurts and does it mean it makes us desperate
Invest a little time on me,
I'm breathing through whispers to watch you speak,
Just takes a night to make your skin crawl all over me,
Yesterday I took it on myself to make a point to say;
''These weathered spaces will never take the best of who I used to be''.
Are we desperate?
So go ahead and spill all of your sins, like you're never never ever gonna see me again.
Leading double lives in another room,
Ive kept this sunlight for way too long.
You're get getting the best of me.

All our best mistakes could never really make us capable,
Of digging our own graves,
I guess what sparked this opinion was finding how to say: are we killing time or just ourselves?
And if writing the light from your eyes wont spark a chord,
Then by default we're flawed yet so relatable,
Oh we pose such tired times for what beats inside my chest,
To be the favourite reminder on how you know I still exist,
At least these growing pains have got me sweating a fever,
In bloom you got me high,
I'm still holding onto for better or worse just because,
Its not set in stone,
It never will because it never was,
Or are we the generous the generous ones?
So step a little on these toes,
And keep on taking space inside my head,
I wont bare no bones about it,
Like a lesson learned on lesser hurt and generous worth
She laced comfort on her whispers to me.
